A great Chrome browser extension that supports dual subtitles for YouTube/Netflix. (Some features are paid)
I've been crazily memorizing words these past two weeks (though I've been slacking off these last couple of days), and my efficiency is skyrocketing. I haven't used the extension above yet; I'll give it a try in the second half of the month.

The taste is just right; truly loving something and being fully invested, with sparks in the eyes when talking about it, has been me since childhood, and I will continue to be this way.

"Wild Romance," I am currently the opposite of this label 🤣, slowly leaning towards this direction.
CD 2#
This week, my Netflix account had issues, so the time I would have spent watching shows was used for reading instead.
Books#
- "Life and Death Fatigue" by Mo Yan Progress: 34%
I just finished reading Mo Yan's "Big Breasts and Wide Hips" last month; the character of Sima Ku is so rich, perfectly fitting the label in the video above: "Wild Romance." This book "Life and Death Fatigue" is essentially a biography of Sima Ku (suffering limited edition)! The protagonist, Ximen Nao, repeatedly reincarnates as a beast, losing the ability to express language, and his actions are controlled not only by others but also by biological instincts.
I absolutely love the other main character, Blue Face; how many can persist in the torrent of the times? "The only independent operator in all of China," this title is just too impressive 🤣. The environment Blue Face is in is quite twisted, and the environment I am currently in is also quite twisted; let's just keep going like this.
Films and TV#
- "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" [Zhengzhou Park Mao Wanda Dolby Cinema] My favorite Marvel movie series! Star-Lord used to use Sony, but now he switched to Zune (Sony fans are crying). Before watching this, Rocket was chatty, casual, and a sharpshooter; I didn't expect this backstory (movie fan). This film controlled my emotions tightly; I cried when Rocket looked at his kind in the cage 😭. (Complaints: The glasses still don't fit; they press on my nose too painfully! I had to hold the frames the whole time, switching hands.)
- "First Love" [Netflix] I heard many people mention this show last year; I always miss the trends (doge). The way it handles the lines between memories and the present is excellent; Netflix always manages to elevate old themes to new heights. The argument between the male and female leads hit me hard; being unreasonable and having no corresponding coping measures, the relationship deteriorated instantly, and it probably still happens like that now 😶.

Returning to a normal diet.
Entertainment#
5.3 ==Zhengzhou== Zhengzhou Zoo#
Visiting the zoo on a rainy day, it's smaller in scale compared to Luoyang Wangcheng Park, which was a bit unexpected. There is a swan lake in the middle of the zoo, and the fishy smell is too strong on a rainy day.
5.13 ==Zhengzhou== Yandong Hall#
There are only a few paintings and sculptures, but the quality of the paintings is quite good (though I didn't understand half of them). I was recommended "The Way of Seeing" on the bookshelf. Coming out of the gallery, there was a screening room, and I felt the artistic charm of stop-motion animation for the first time. Only the first floor is the exhibition area; I almost wandered into the private area 🙀.
Outro#
I haven't slowed down to record every touchpoint of life this past half month, which should be one of the factors for my worsening mood, along with EGO; I haven't managed others' impressions well during this time. In the next half month, I will raise my enthusiasm to face most people.
This month, I got a Sony player, so I will be eating dirt for a while. Be firm and channel some of the spirit of Ximen Ku and Blue Face. Start learning music theory early; no more slacking off!
Thank you for taking the time to carry my ramblings, END.
